Install our WooCommerce integration plugin
- From your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add Plugin page
- Search for the WANotifier for WooCommerce plugin
- Click Install and then Activate
- Go to WooCommerce → WANotifier page

- Create your WANotifier account & start your 7-day free trial
- Setup your phone number with WhatsApp Business API
- Come back to the plugin page and connect your WANotifier account

Setup on your WhatsApp automations
Pick a use case below to start setting up your automation.
Order Notifications
Follow the steps below to setup WhatsApp order notifications:
- Create a new template from Message Templates → Add New
- Then create a notification of type: Transactional / Integration / API from Notifications → Add New page
- Select a WooCommerce order status trigger
- Select recipients: WooCommerce → Billing phone number
- Save the notification
Abandoned Cart
- WooCommerce → WANotifier → Settings → Abandoned Cart — enable, set cut-off (15–30 min)
- Create a template with a button linking to yourstore.com/cart/?wano_session={{1}}
- Notifications → Add New → trigger: Cart is abandoned
- Recipients: WooCommerce Cart Abandonment, map recovery key, click Save
Contacts & Promotions
- Automations → Integrations → WooCommerce → Contact Sync — enable, map fields
- Turn on Customer Created, click Initial Sync for existing customers
- For promos: Marketing template → Notification → Bulk Broadcast → pick list → Save & Send
Chat Button
- In the plugin, enable Chat Button
- Add your number, a greeting message, pick a style, click Save
- Optional: build a chatbot under Automation → Bots → Add New
