Senior WordPress Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Hadapsar, Pune, MH (Hybrid)
Working hours: 10 am to 7 pm IST Mon to Fri
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Salary: ₹12L to ₹18L CTC

You’ll be working on a full-fledged, enterprise grade SaaS product built on WordPress with modern architecture (Bedrock WP), that’s already handling millions of messages and requests each month.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and improve custom features for our SaaS product using WordPress, Custom PHP, React,js etc.
• Work with modern WordPress architecture (Bedrock WP) with advanced development workflows.
• Write enterprise grade, highly performant and robust code.
• Build native 3rd party integrations and custom REST APIs.
• Use top notch AI tools (Claude Code/Codex $200/mon plan) to 2x your productivity and produce better code faster.
• Collaborate with the development team for building new features, fix bugs, make updates, knowledge sharing, training etc.

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• Loves to build stuff and has OCD for quality code
• Is excellent in backend: PHP, custom WordPress and WooCommerce development
• Is great in frontend: HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery and React.js
• Knows WordPress core, REST API, Bedrock, Composer, WP CLI and WP best practices
• Can learn, adapt and implement 3rd party API and build internal APIs
• Can work independently and generate bug-free code, the first time around
• Have decent experience with dev tools like Git, Postman etc
• Is easy to work and is a team player
• Knows how to use AI-tools for increasing efficiency
