Senior WordPress Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Remote (Pune, MH)
Working hours: 10 am to 7 pm IST Mon to Fri
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Salary: ₹12L to ₹20L CTC

You’ll be working on a full-fledged, enterprise grade SaaS product built on WordPress with modern architecture (Bedrock WP), that’s already handling millions of messages and requests each month.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and improve custom features for our SaaS product using WordPress, Custom PHP, React,js etc.
- Work with modern WordPress architecture (Bedrock WP) with advanced development workflows.
- Write enterprise grade, highly performant and robust code.
- Build native 3rd party integrations and custom REST APIs.
- Use top notch AI tools (Claude Code/Codex $200/mon plan) to 2x your productivity and produce better code faster.
- Collaborate with the development team for building new features, fix bugs, make updates, knowledge sharing, training etc.
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- Loves to build stuff and has OCD for quality code
- Is excellent in backend: PHP, custom WordPress and WooCommerce development
- Is great in frontend: HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery and React.js
- Knows WordPress core, REST API, Bedrock, Composer, WP CLI and WP best practices
- Can learn, adapt and implement 3rd party API and build internal APIs
- Can work independently and generate bug-free code, the first time around
- Have decent experience with dev tools like Git, Postman etc
- Is easy to work and is a team player
- Knows how to use AI-tools for increasing efficiency
